HOME REPORTS ARE HERE
It's now official. As of Monday 1st December all new sellers to the market now require a Home Report for their property before it can legally go on the market. We have negotiated discounted rates with a number of leading surveyors who can carry out this service for you, so your first step should still be a call to our office to arrange a complimentary valuation of your home before proceeding to the next step of the Home Report, which entails survey report, mortgage valuation, energy efficiency report and questionnaire completed by the seller. Also something which has not been as well documented is that all properties remaining on the market after January 4th 2009 will also need an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). Again we can arrange a discount for this service and the cost will be a relatively nominal sum. Feel free to contact us with your queries.
